Golden Demons' playoff opener on 1350 AM-WILLY The Fike varsity baseball team's opens the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3-A state playoffs against Eastern Alamance tonight. The Golden Demons, the No. 1 seed from the NEW 6, enter play with an 18-4 record. Eastern Alamance, the Mid-State No. 4, carries a 4-14 ledger. The game will be broadcast on 1350 AM-WLLY. Alton Britt, the voice of Wilson County sports, will be on the air beginning at 6:40 p.m. First pitch is slated for 7.
