Kelly Lindsey Wells of Clayton is the daughter of Julia Lewis Griffin of Wilson and Calvin Lee Wells of Rocky Mount who announce her engagement to Christopher George Suggs of Clayton, son of Sandra Sloan Suggs of Clayton and Ted Allen Suggs of Durham. The bride is the granddaughter of Eugene Smith Lewis, Jean Proctor Williams, the late Dorothy Bates Lewis, and the late Robert Louis Wells. The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Frank and Emma Sloan and the late Clyde and Gladys Suggs. A May 24 wedding is planned at the Wilson Rose Garden.
