Stone-Barnette

Staci Nicole Barnette of Wilson and Daniel Stephen Stone of Bailey exchanged wedding vows Feb. 23 at Farmington Heights Church. The Rev. LaVon Phillips officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.

Melvin and Rhonda Barnette of Wilson are the bride's parents. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Whitley of Bunn, Dalton and Sylvia Pearce of Macclesfield, Margie Barnette of Wilson and the late Clarence Barnette. Her Godparents are Bob and Dawn Cannon, Joe and Annette Barnes and Wilburt Wilkins, all of Wilson. She graduated from Community Christian School and studied radiology at East Carolina University and Edgecombe Community College.

The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Debra Stone of Bailey and the grandson of the Rev. and B.D. Stone of Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jones and the late Luther Boykin. He graduated from Southern Nash High School and is employed by BB&T as an operation analyst.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Kellie Skinner of Wilson was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Becky Colbert of Louisburg, Kimberly Baker of Nashville, Kelli Arnold of Farmville, Kaleena Phelps of Tarboro, Abigail Phillips of Rocky Mount, and Ashleigh Smith of Louisburg, cousin of the bride.

Meredith Hollifield was the flower girl.

Miniature bride was Maggie Hollifield.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Matthew Barnette of Wilson, brother of the bride; Tony Nichols of Wilson; Jeff Webb of Wilson; Brooks Dew of Wilson, cousin of the bridegroom; Taylor Goff of Wilson, cousin of the bride; and Brandon Galloway of Wilson, cousin of the bridegroom.

Harlee Allen of Hickory was the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was given by the bride's parents in the church family life center.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Something Different.

Since their return from a honeymoon trip to the beach, they are living in Wilson.
