Pham-Best

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Amanda L. Best and Nghiem V. Pham, both of Caldwell, N.J., were united in marriage Saturday at the restaurant Chakra. The Honorable Richard M. Freid officiated at the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ike and Sharron Best of Jamestown, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Doris McIntosh and the late Harold McIntosh of Wilson, N.C., and Grace Blake and the late Braxton Best of Dunn, N.C. She gradauted from Saint Mary's School in Raleigh, N.C., and received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received a juris doctor degree from City University of New York School of Law and is an attorney with Bubb Grogan & Cocca LLP in Morristown, N.J.

The bridegroom is the son of Chung and Trang Pham of Pompano Beach, Fla. He is the grandson of Nguyên thi Dâu and the late Võ van Bê of Saigon, Vietnam, and the late Pham Dung and Nguyên thi Giáp of Danang, Vietnam.

He graduated from Torrington High School in Torrington, Conn., and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. He received a juris doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and is a law clerk for Hon. Randolph Subryan, Superior Court of New Jersey, Paterson, N.J. He also served in the United States Army and the U.S. Army Reserves.

Following their return from a honeymoon in Italy, the couple will live in Caldwell, N.J.
