John McCain, who is married to a billionair-ress keeps referring to himself as a "regular guy," a "back of the bus Johnnie." Someone who understands the escalating prices of energy, food and medical care. A non-elitist. Oh, please! He has even declined to support policy that would give us the same medical insurance coverage that he currently benefits from.
The success of this "just a regular guy" ad campaign is another piece of Republican fiction guaranteed to wreak further havoc on our country. If you believe the party's fiction of understanding the concerns of "the average Joe," there is this bridge for sale.
As President Bush (the other piece of Republican fiction) would say ... "fool me once, shame on you, fool me..., well you can't shame us again." (paraphrased) Looks like they can and they will, again, if McCain succeeds.
