The boys team placed 12th with 20 points, carried by its victory in the 4x200 Relay, the only event won by either team.
Brooks Best, Curtis Braswell, Blake Jones and Tyrell Lane turned in a time of 1:30.50 to hold off Southern Guilford.
Burlington Cummings won the girls meet with 129 points, followed by Cardinal Gibbons (107) and Cedar Ridge (90).
Southern Guilford's 83 points were the most on the boys side.
Anyone placing in the top four spots of an event advance to the state meet. In addition to the 4x200 team, the following Greene Central athletes qualified for state competition: Charlene Williams (discus), Brittney Belcher (400 m dash), Marquis Graham (triple jump) and the girls 4x200 Relay team of Belcher, Michelle Manning, Tia Jones and Jasmine Atkinson.
