Miriam V. Gilg

Miriam H. Van Sant Gilg, 74, retired Wilson County Jail matron, died April 26, 2008.

Services are for and at the convenience of the family.

Surviving is her daughter, Johnnie Sue King of Wilson; son, Richard C. King of Wilson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1207 Peachtree Road NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
