Do not call -- or vote We have our telephone number on the national "Do Not Call" list. When they wrote the "Do Not Call" law, selfish politicians exempted themselves from this restrictive law. Over the past few days, our telephone has been rung repeatedly by politicians who employ mechanized calling machines to campaign on my telephone. But I shall have the last word -- I have started a list. Every such caller goes on my list of selfish, disingenuous politicians for whom I shall not vote. If they have so little concern for my desire not to have my day interrupted by their telephone calls, then they certainly won't have any concern for my other needs. I urge other voters to, also, not vote for them. Oliver Curtis Powell Rocky Mount
