SPRING HOPE — Taylor “Fluff” Michael Samonia, 21, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012.
He was born in Brandon, Fla. on July 7, 1991. Taylor loved to hunt and fish. He had a zest for life even after a traumatic injury that left him unable to walk. He was a true friend and encouraged others. He was known by his friends as “Fluff” after naming his truck “Fluffy.”
Taylor was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Daisy and Dewey Brantley, and paternal grandfather, Michael Samonia.
He is survived by his father, Aron M. Samonia; his mother, Marsha B. Samonia; grandmother, Fran Corcoran; brother, Brett Samonia; sisters, Michelle Kemp and husband, Eddie, Jamie Griffin and husband, Josh; aunts, Sandi Williams and husband, Bill, Michele Hunt and husband, Daryl, Cindy Patterson and husband, Doug; uncles, Lee Brantley and wife, Jenny, Jeff Corcoran and wife, Wendy; nieces, Bailey Kemp, Lily Griffin; nephews, Tyler Kemp, Daniel Griffin; and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank the friends and family that supported Taylor following his accident in February.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bailey Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
