ROCKVILLE, Md. — Richard Hurst Jr., 81, died Monday, May 1, 2012.
He was the son of the late Richard L. “Dick” and Carrie Rose Hurst.
He is survived by his wife, Evalene Kinder Hurst; four children, Richard W. Hurst of Mt. Airy, Md., Sharon Tripp of North Carolina, Cindy Echelberger of Gaitherburg, Md., and Gary A. Hurst of Rockville, Md.; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Baker and Katie Oberland.
Visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at Muriel H. Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882. Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Muriel H. Barber Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, Md.
