SNOW HILL — Mr. Granville Ginn, 65, died Saturday June 9, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
A native of Greene County, he was born Dec. 11, 1946, the son of Wayland and Mary Sauls Ginn. Granville was a mechanic and possessed a great love of cars. He also operated Ginn’s Food and Games for many years in the Fort Run community.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Reverend Stephen Gay officiating.
Granville is survived by his fiancé and soulmate, Lisa Decker Johnson of the home; mother, Mary Sauls Ginn of Snow Hill; sons, Chris Harper and wife, Doris, of Wilson, Stephen Ginn and wife, Sonja, of Snow Hill, and Tony Ginn and wife, Hayley, of Goldsboro; stepchildren, Codee Grant and fiancé, Trey Seagroves, of Charlotte and Dr. Dustin Grant and wife, Sarah, of Indiana; brothers, J.D. Ginn and wife, Shirley, of Snow Hill, and Randy Ginn and significant other, Elaine, of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Elizabeth Harper, Kaleb Ginn, Adayah Ginn, Jadah Ginn, Ariel Ginn, Landon “Little T” Ginn, and Ava Ginn; a great-grandchild, Malachi Keen; nieces and nephews, Jody Ginn, Josh Powell, Cinnamon Powell, and Paige Ragavage; and his beloved pet dog, “Rocket.”
