John T. B. Thompson, 76, died Sunday, July 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by visitation.
Surviving is his companion, Katherine Rea; sons, Spruill Thompson (Karen) of Wilmington and John Thompson of Atlantic Beach; grandchildren, Shepherd and Gordon Thompson; and brothers, Russell A. Thompson Jr. (Sis) and Samuel G. Thompson (Bonnie) of Raleigh.
