Jean Narron Gay, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dennis Pollock. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gay was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lewis Gay; and a brother, Dickie Narron.
She is survived by four daughters, Janet Martin and husband, Alan of Wilson, Iris Allen of Princeton, Paulette Snipes of Raleigh, and Sharon Garrett of Wilson; son, Greg Gay and wife, Jamie of Elm City; three sisters, Sue Whitaker, Judy Hawley, and Jo Ellen Narron; brother, Tommy Narron; and sister-in-law Ann Narron; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Janet and Alan Martin.
