Edna Marie King McNeil, 68, of 401 Lee St. NE., passed away Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 1:30 p.m., at White Oak Penecostal Church, N.C. 91, Wilson. Bishop Thomas Lucas will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Left to remember Edna with love and joy are her daughter, Joyce Williams (Mickey) of Wilson; her sons, Robert McNeil Jr. (Diane), John G. McNeil Sr. (Anita), Christopher E. McNeil (Lynn), Edward E. McNeil (Pattrell) and Ronald D. McNeil Sr. (Kristie), all of Wilson; her sisters, Rosa Peterkin, Barbara Jean Dawson and Mary Vick, all of Wilson; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 E. Nash St. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
