BAILEY — Earl McClees Farmer, 82, passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 3967 W. Hornes Church Road, Bailey. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City. The Rev. Reuben Cason will officiate.
The family will receive friends 2 – 3 p.m. at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church and other times at 8708 Liles Road, Bailey.
Earl is survived by his wife, Jean Lamm Farmer; stepdaughters, Connie Sherrod of Bailey and Susan Boykin of Rocky Mount; stepson, Michael Howard of Bailey; sisters, Mabel F. Baker of Greenville and Rebecca F. Joyner and husband, Lauris, of Nashville; nieces, Brenda Briley, Connie Brice, Lisa Meekins and Carla Thielen; nephews, Lauris T. Joyner, Larry Bulluck and Bobby Bulluck; several stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Irene Bulluck; and brother, William Ardell Farmer.
