Carolyn Jean Hales Bailey, 57, died Friday, June 29, 2012.
Her funeral was held Monday in the Bailey Cemetery for her immediate family.
Surviving is her son, Ronnie Bailey Jr. (Dawn) of Lucama; grandchildren, Kristen, Kalyn and Jordan Bailey; mother, Jean Bryant Underwood and stepfather, Curtis Underwood of Rolesville. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1207 Peachtree Road NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
