ELM CITY — Bobby Elton Langley, 69, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Mack Langley; and his sister, Jean Page.
He is survived by his daughters, Penny Couling and husband, Barry, of Goldsboro, and Kimberly Smith of Wilson; mother, Mary Lee Langley Edwards of Wilson; sisters, Dorothy Farmer and husband, Dickie, and Alice Morgan, all of Wilson; a brother, Willard Langley and wife, Brenda, of Wilson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and best friend and faithful companion of 26 years, Pat Smithwick of Elm City.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Benny Poythress will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Other times the family will be at the home, 4631 Windsor Road, Elm City.
