Garnet Wilmouth Mills, age 82 passed away Friday, May 2, 2008.

She was the daughter of the late Oscar Wilmouth and Etta Gravitt Wilmouth.

She was preceded in death by her husband Owen Mills; sisters, Ethel Wilbourne, Bay Ford and Myrtle Wilbourne; brothers, Tom Wilmouth, Craddock Wilmouth and Fenton Wilmouth.

She is survived by one son, Larry Mills and wife Sharon of Hampstead, N.C.; sisters, June Williams and Ophelia Epps, both of South Boston, Va.; granddaughter Melanie LoPresti and husband Josh of Raleigh.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday May 5, 2008, at Evergreen Memorial Park, with the Rev. David Haley officiating. Receiving of friends at conclusion of service.
