Cheryl Dawn Elings Tull May 23, 1954 -- May 7, 2008 KENLY -- Cheryl Dawn Elings Tull, 53, died Wednesday. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Mrs. Tull is survived by her husband, John Tull; two daughters, Samara DeCamp of Wilmington and Traci Turner of Middlesex; a son, Edward Pait Jr. and wife, Pamela, of Middlesex; her parents, John and Cleo Brennan of Elizabeth City; a sister, Kimra Wells of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Clemans Elings Jr. and Ronald Elings, both of Norfolk, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Herman Perry Jr. Feb. 15, 1943 -- May 7, 2008 ELM CITY -- Herman Perry Jr., 65, of 6243 Stagecoach Road, died at Wilson Medical Center on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Elm City, with the Rev. Tommy Hagan officiating. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest "Dock" Perry. Surviving are his wife, Catherine T. Perry; daughters, Renee P. Farmer and husband, David, of Elm City and Susan P. Cowan and husband, Russell, of Elm City; son, Todd Perry and wife, Saborah, of Wilson; sister, Evelyn Johnson of Elm City; grandchildren, Anna C. Perry, Al Perry, Matt Harmer, and Adam Farmer; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pennies from Angels and/or Patients Network Foundation. Phillip Honeycutt LUCAMA -- Phillip Honeycutt, 73, died Thursday, May 8, 2008. He was very interested in the Lucama Fire Department, the Shrine Horse Patrol, and was a member of Milbournie FWB Church. Funeral is Monday, 11 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Doris Durham Honeycutt; daughter, Phyllis Scott (James), of Lucama; son, Michael Honeycutt (Penny), of Wilson; grandchildren, Joshua Scott, Dylan, Brett, and Brilyn Honeycutt; and sister, Jane Bass (Billy) of Lucama.
