Johnston County Schools honors retirees


Johnston County Schools honored its retirees during a dinner June 11.

Faculty and staff from local schools were among the 71 employees honored. They included Susan B. Barnes, a teacher with 32 years experience, from Glendale-Kenly Elementary; Sheila C. Johnson, a teacher assistant with 30 years experience, from Glendale-Kenly Elementary; Cherri S. Stone, a teacher with 32.5 years experience, from Glendale-Kenly Elementary; Sarah Williams, a teacher with nine years experience, from Glendale-Kenly Elementary; Wilma Pridgen, a teacher assistant with 20 years experience, from North Johnston High; Kathy Sandifer, a teacher with 31 years experience, from North Johnston High; and Wanda Stancil, a teacher with 30 years experience, from North Johnston High.

Why wasn't the Wilson County retirees shown in the paper. I know it was in the printed paper?
