Newcomb 50th anniversary Donald and Justine Newcomb celebrated their 50 wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 16. The couple was married Aug. 16, 1958. A party was held in their honor Aug. 9 at The Legacy in Elm City. Hostesses were the couple's daughters, Charis Lewis and Renee Evett, and host David Webb. Mr. Newcomb served in the Air Force for 20 years and worked in civil service for 20 years. Mrs. Newcomb worked in civil service for 30 years. The couple has two children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Newcomb was the former Justine Webb of Wilson.
