Mary Hunter Finch and William Camp Koster, both of Wilson, exchanged wedding vows Aug. 30 at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville. The Rev. James Hawley McKinnon officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Quay Justesen Sr. of Greenwood, S.C. and Mr. and Mrs. David Harold Finch of Asbury, N.J. She is the granddaughter of Ruthmary McColl Pope and the late Robert Clyde Pope of Wilson, and Eva Todd Finch and the late Harold Gilbert Finch of Harkers Island. She graduated from Broughton High School in Raleigh and was presented by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh at the North Carolina Debutante Ball in 1996. She received her bachelor of science degree in health promotion from Appalachian State University and her associate degree in nursing from Wilson Technical Community College. She is an RN in Labor and Delivery at Wilson Medical Center.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gray Koster Sr. of Wilson. He is the grandson of the late Joseph F. Koster and Susie D. Koster of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Simmons III of Courtland, V.A. He graduated from Greenfield School and attended Louisburg College and North Carolina State University. He is the owner of Koster Irrigation, Inc.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a beautiful couture strapless wedding gown by Jim Hjelm in their signature white shantung silk. The A-line modified pick-up skirt was accented by covered buttons on the back of the gown. A silk sash followed the waistline from the back of the gown, tying into a half-bow in the front. The bride's grandmother's beautiful antique gold and diamond brooch, which had been worn by all of the women in the family, finished the vintage look. The bride's ensemble was also accented by a beaded cap-sleeved bolero.

The bride paired her dress with her aunt's veil which was adorned with chantilly lace with flower, pearl, and beading accents placed on a pearl comb. The bride's jewelry included a special new "past, present, and future" diamond and sapphire right hand ring set in white gold, given to her by her mother on the day of the wedding.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas, white roses and gardenias.

Matron of honor was Caroline Finch Kimball of Greenville S.C., sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Virginia Ruth Finch of Greenville, S.C., sister of the bride; Jennifer Chase Finch of Marietta, Ga., sister-in-law of the bride; Sarah Ruth Holman of Chatham, Ill.; Stacey Schiller Little of Cary; Olivia Jilcott Boles and Robin Skinner Baker, both of Wilson; and Freya Angelica Solray of Chapel Hill. Junior bridesmaid was Susan Serpell Williamson of Raleigh.

The bridesmaids wore strapless, tea-length silk dupioni dresses in pacific blue with pleated inset empire waistbands and pleated skirts.

Flower girls were Della Joyner Perry, Clara Parker Perry and Katherine Auve Pulliam Perry, all of Raleigh. They wore pink batiste heirloom dresses with ecru lace. Train bearer was Ashley Douglas Perry.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Groomsmen were John Gray Koster Jr. of Wilson and Stephen Frank Koster of Raleigh, brothers of the bridegroom; Robert Todd Finch of Marietta, Ga., brother of the bride; Brian Frederick Jinks, Grant Taylor Roberson and Charles Joel Williamson, all of Wilson; and Stephen Thomas Hoffman of Raleigh.

Ring bearer was John Gray Koster III, the bridegroom's nephew. Bible carrier was Chase McClennon Finch, nephew of the bride.

Scripture reader was Ann Henley Perry of Raleigh. Mary Virginia Woodall of Charlotte directed the wedding.

Wedding music was provided by harpist Anita Burroughs-Price and violinist Paul Goldsberry, both of Raleigh, trumpeter William Butts Boles Jr. of Wilson, and soloist Ingrid Lucille Goelst, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Rose Hill Plantation hosted by the bridal couple.

Friday evening, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Wilson Country Club.

Earlier that day, a bridesmaids luncheon was held at Wilson Country Country Club. Hosts were Ruth Pope, the bride's grandmother, Janice Howerton, Norma Goelst and Amy Pope, all aunts of the bride.

On Saturday, friends of the bridal couple's families hosted a brunch at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyatt M. Field.

Since their return from a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Wilson.
