WILMINGTON - Annie Elizabeth Williford and Brian Michael Cilinski, both of Wilmington, exchanged wedding vows May 30 at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington. Dr. William Presnell officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ellis and Kathy Williford of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Pauline Williford of Temperance Hall and the late C. Elmo Williford, and Ethel Williford of Elm City and the late Callie Morris Williford. She graduated from Fike High School and received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed by Shire Pharmaceutical as a professional sales representative.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael Cilinski of Mount Bethel, Pa. and Lynn Peverill of Wake Forest. He is the grandson of Edward and Cathy Cilinski of Alexandria, Va., and the late Mary and Stanley Santoroski. He graduated from Thomas Edison High School and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is an account executive with Image Products, My Rewards.

Escorted by her father, the bride chose a formal gown of satin. The strapless elongated bodice was embellished with silver embroidery, sequins, bugle beads and crystals, and was accented with satin pleating. The sweetheart neckline was outlined in bugle beads and sequins. The floor-length satin skirt and semi-cathedral-length train were accented with satin buttons from the neckline to the hem, and were adorned at the hemline with pleating and beaded scalloped embroidery.

The bride's head piece was a silver tiara adorned with rhinestones. The veil was soft illusion trimmed with a satin edge and fell to a semi-cathedral length.

The bride's bouquet consisted of white hydrangea and pink roses.

Matron of honor was Laura Williford Owens, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Katy Cilinski, sister of the bridegroom, Chelsa Vescovi, Cari Green and Kristen Swann.

Honorary attendants were Lindsey Murphy, Tracy Hall and Jocie Brineman.

Flower girl was Riley Patterson of Wilson, daughter of Pat and Windi Patterson.

The bridegroom's uncle, Edward Cilinski, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Douglas West, Matthew Beineki, David Yackel and Dean Kellermier.

Ring bearer was Zachary Ellis Owens, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Porters Neck Country Club. Hosts were the parents of the bride.

On the eve of the ceremony, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Wrightsville Beach.

The day before the ceremony, a golf outing was held in Wilmington. The event was hosted by the friends and family of the bridegroom.

On the day of the ceremony, the family of the bride hosted a bridesmaids' brunch on Figure Eight Island.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.

PRE-NUPTIAL EVENTS

A lingerie shower on March 20 was held in Wilmington by friends of the bride.

A bachelorette weekend in Charleston, S.C., was held the weekend of March 21 and hosted by the sister of the bride.

Friends of the bridegroom hosted a batchelor's weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the weekend of February 28.

On March 29, a couple's shower with a Hawaiian theme was given by friends of the bride and bridegroom.

Friends of the bridegroom hosted a batchelor's party on April 4.

A bridal shower was given by the bride's sister and family on April 19.
