Engagements
Raper-Vandenbree Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Vandenbree of Charles City County, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Nelson, to Jerry Lane Raper Jr. of Wilson. Mr. Raper is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Raper Sr. of Wilson. Ms. Vandenbree is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Ritter Sr. of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mr. Ellery N. Vandenbree of Newport News, Va., and the late Vivian Nelson Vandenbree. The bridegroom is the grandson of Nancy Zuber and the late Thomas Hugh Bryan of Jonesboro, La., and the late Kermit and Maybelle Raper of Stancil's Chapel. The wedding will take place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Howard in Chocowinity on June 21, 2008.
