Newton-Blount Gwendolyn Ann Blount of Wilson is the daughter of Lossie Davis of Stantonsburg and Mr. and Mrs. James Davis of Rocky Mount who announce her engagement to Donnie Ray Newton of Wilson, son of Bennie Newton and the late Marie Newton of Wilson. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Barnes of Wilson and the late Sarah Randolph of Rocky Mount. The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Bessie and John Newton and the late Geneva and Jack Anderson, all of Wilson. The wedding is June 7 at Wedgewood. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the 6 p.m ceremony.
