Konewko-Speight Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Badgett of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Larry Speight of Walstonburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Cristen Leora Speight of Myrtle Beach, to Jonathan Michael Konewko, also of Myrtle Beach. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Walter Sinclair and Ms. Frances Parris of Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Speight, also of Wilson. The groom-elect, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Carannante of Myrtle Beach, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Funcke of Hudson, Fla. A June 7, 2008 wedding is planned at the Ocean Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach.
