Monday, October 19, 2009 9:41 AM Mr. and Mrs. Bridgers celebrate 65th anniversary Archie and Mattie Bridgers celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Sept. 26 with a dinner hosted by the couple's children at Golden Corral. Twenty-five guests attended. Mr. Bridgers is retired from Hackney Brothers Body Company, and Mrs. Bridgers is a housewife. The couple has six children, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bridgers is the former Mattie Batts of Wilson. |
